Job Description:	We are currently seeking an HVAC Engineer for our start-up Amherst MA Office which is scheduled to officially open as of January 1, 2010. RDK has several clients around the UMass campus and recently opened a new office to better serve them. Qualified candidates will have a thorough understanding of the principles of HVAC systems design. Responsibilities will include site surveys, engineering calculations, layout and design work on a number of concurrent projects for both private and public sector clients. Exposure to electrical, fire protection and plumbing disciplines helpful for coordination of trades. Candidates must have a BSME degree along with 5 to 10 years prior experience designing HVAC systems for research laboratories, higher-ed, industrial, or other high-tech facilities. PE license preferred.
