Job Description:	DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: May include but not limited to the following: Review documents for constructability and budget constraints. Participate with inspection and quality assurance staff to determine compliance with contract requirements. Produce feasible budgets from conceptual plans and specifications. Produce square footage costs based on established standards. Prepare budgets from descriptive narratives and drawings specifications and sketches. Prepare formal take-off estimates with documentation of estimate logic and methods. Review and analyze cost information from various sources. Review and compare scopes of work, production rates, and cost data. Implement and follow all applicable Quality Assurance Program procedures. Assist Construction Administration Department by conducting constructability reviews during design and process submittals and perform other construction administration tasks. Qualifications Strong understanding of construction materials, means and methods. Experienced in the use of common construction estimating software (MCACES, SUCCESS, etc.) Ability to interpret design documents/drawings. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills. Experienced using Microsoft Office and Outlook (or similar software) Overnight travel Certification Become certified by AACE as a Certified Cost Consultant (CCC) or Certified Cost Engineer (CCE) within two (2) years of employment Education Associates or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
