Job Description:	Currently, we are seeking a Construction Coordinator - Machanical to support our client, Suncor, and their main site oil sands operation in Fort McMurray, Alberta. As Construction Coordinator you will be a member of the Project Execution Team and will play a key role in obtaining project specific goals. As Construction Coordinator, some key responsibilities include: · Ensure compliance with established safety and environment programs · Adhere to the responsibilities and procedures are followed by all personnel within their assigned area as outlined by the Operational Systems Plan · Ensure the team is fully trained in regards to current procedures · Control of nonconforming products, services and their repair · Develop team relationships to ensure smooth interaction between parties responsible for work identification, planning / scheduling, and execution work · Monitor performance of core team, sub contractors and their relationships, and work with Supervisors and Superintendents to work toward continuous improvement · Maintain a focus on providing exceptional customer service · Develop and maintain excellent and effective relationship with the client The successful candidate would hold relevant Trade Qualifications, with preference to those holding additional engineering qualifications. Also, it is paramount that you have substantial industrial experience as a Construction Coordinator within the Oil and Gas sector.
