Job Description:	This position would be responsible for the period-end close. It would include verifying that internal control procedures are followed, ensuring that proper accounting procedures are followed, overseeing cash, managing the ERP system, producing the financial statements, preparing and submitting reports, and performing other duties as assigned. Main Requirements: CPA preferred but not required. 6 to 10 years experience in Construction Accounting with 3 to 5 years as Controller of a company with revenues of at least $20 million. • 3 to 5 years staff management experience • Extensive experience in completion of Work in Process schedules • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel • MAS90 or MAS200 • Experience with Timberline Estimating or other estimating software Other Requirements: • Professional demeanor and an ability to maintain confidentiality. • Ability to work in a diverse workplace. Ability to work with a wide variety of people in an effort to gain cooperation and achieve the objectives of the position • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization • Organizational skills and ability to multi-task • Willingness to put in time necessary to produce an accurate close on the 20th of each month. • Ability to work a schedule that most likely will include long hours during the period close. Helpful Experience but not required: • Comfort in working in a very casual and informal environment. • Proficiency or familiarity with Crystal Reports and Microsoft Access • Managing A/P • Fixed asset reporting • Inventory accounting and control
