Job Description:	PRIMARY DUTIES: 'Performs AC-DC wiring for installations in facilities and installs new electrical wiring in buildings, machines and equipment. 'Troubleshoots electrical equipment and handles electrical repair work. 'Performs construction wiring. 'Repairs and services electronic equipment used in facility. 'Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery. 'Installs and troubleshoots telephone, LAN and data communications wiring. 'Works with technical personnel, tool makers and engineers to install, test, modify and operate new electrical equipment. 'Performs general cleaning duties and other tasks as may be required. SKILLS: 'Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels. 'Abide by the National Electrical Code - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wire diagrams, drawings, job sheets, inspection lists, oral instructions and equipment manuals. 'Assist in planning and preparation of cost estimates of proposed installations and/or repairs. 'Thorough knowledge of electrical principals, theories, and practices and ability to apply it. 'Ability to read and understand equipment manuals. 'Ability to supervise, direct and train other personnel when required. 'Able to work on electrical equipment of 110V to 480V-single and 3 phase. 'Able to utilize the following equipments: hand tools, drills, meters, recorders, manlifts, conduit benders (electrical & manual), computers, phone testing equipment, fork trucks, plows, trucks and automobiles. 'Knowledge of presentation/audio visual equipment with the ability to install, operate and troubleshoot is preferred. Requirements: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 'Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent. 'Minimum of 5 years related electrical experience in an industrial setting. 'Journeyman preferred. 'Exemplary attendance and job performance. Other: 'A proportional share of overtime is required on short notice. 'Able to work under unfavorable weather conditions and noisy environment. 'Hazardous materials may be encountered 'Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. 'Able to work in elevated and/or confined spaces.
