Job Description:	Gilbane, the nation’s sixth largest construction manager, has immediate openings for Project Officers and Estimators in all disciplines located in Long Island City, NY. Experience with K-12 projects preferred. Project Officer: Minimum of 5 years; 3 years of experience working in one or more construction and design related field; and 2 years involved with managing all phase of construction work. Knowledge of Expedition is a plus. Estimator: Minimum of 8 years; with 5 years of experience in a specified discipline; electrical, plumbing, mechanical and architecture; and 3 years of general construction estimating experience. Applicants absolutely must have prior experience as a Project Officer/ESTIMATOR in the construction of K-12 schools. Prior experience in residential construction is not applicable. The successful candidate should have a BS or MS [Engineering/Construction Management].
