Job Description:	Varian, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer, based in our Walnut Creek, Ca. facility. Our ideal candidate must have sound knowledge and experience of modern manufacturing practices. You must be capable of leading a small team of assemblers and technicians to produce and service high mix low volume NMR products. Eng. plus three years relevant technical engineering work. Three additional years experience in a manufacturing environment. Fluent in a mechanical CAD program such as Solid Works. Knowledge of Network Analyzer, Signal Generator, Oscilloscopes, and radio frequency electronics a plus. Experience with vacuum and cryogenic equipment a plus. Proficient in Excel, MS Word, and knowledge of Unix/Linux. Domestic/international travel; valid passport required.
