Job Description:	Summary: The Project Manager is the leader of the assigned project team for Rail Projects, and is responsible for assuring that the cost, time, and performance requirements are met. The Project Manager additionally oversees Field Coordinators to supervise work assignments, objectives, progress, and performance measurements. The PM also identifies training requirements necessary for the proper development of staff members. Average 2-4 projects per PM Average project length is 2-5 years Travel averages 25-50% mostly domestic. Must be willing to travel internationally also. Domestic travel could also include Alaska. Some international travel potential to Europe, Saudi Arabia, Libya, South America, Canada Required: * Strong Project Management and Strong Leadership experience is KEY. * Must have 5 or more years of solid Project Management experience * Must demonstrate sensitivity to customer needs and the ability to hit the ground running in the middle of an existing project. * Must have external client facing experience * Will consider Mid level but strongly prefer Sr. Level PM experience with projects 10million-40million+ * This position is based in Pittsburgh, PA and would require relocation to Pittsburgh. Desired: * PMP certification highly desired * Entrepreneurial mindset it highly desired—ability to be successful without a lot of structure * International experience desired but not required * Rail Signaling or Transport industry experience is nice to have but not required, other desireable industries are defense, locomotive, construction * Primavera/SAP knowledge helpful but not required Sr. PM experience to include: --BA/ BS Engineering or related degree with 10+ years of related experience as Lead Engineer, Project Director or Contract Administrator Revenue Dollars: $10 million + Staff Hours: 50,000+ Number of people: 25 + Customer complexity: Difficult consultants, customer interfaces Project complexity: Multiple interfaces Direction/decision authority: This position reports to the VP of Customer Operations. This position will have on average two administrative direct reports and multiple indirect engineering, planning reports etc. Mid-level PM experience to include: BA/ BS Engineering or related degree with 5-10 years of related experience as Lead Engineer, Project Director or Contract Administrator Revenue Dollars: $5 million+ Staff Hours: 10,000-50,000 Number of people: 10-20 Customer complexity: Difficult consultants, customer interfaces Direction/decision authority: This position reports to the VP of Customer Operations. This position will have on average two administrative direct reports and multiple indirect engineering, planning reports etc.
