Job Description:	Provide overall project management and direction on a large multi-million dollar construction project located on Andrews, AFB. Responsible for the management of all Client requirements, project deliverables, and project quality, schedule, and cost. Accountabilities • Supervise construction management, Quality Control, and Health and Safety staff; and multiple subcontractors. • Manage business aspects of projects, including staffing, schedule, budget, subcontractor and material procurement, and change order management. • Oversee technical aspects of construction, including civil/site work and vertical construction to include architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. • Coordinate with design support team to effectively support construction efforts • Communicate effectively with U.S. DoD and Local National clients and multi-cultural staff and subcontractors Knowledge/Experience • Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture or equivalent. Engineering or Architectural degree a plus • Over 15 years experience managing construction projects. Design/Build experience a plus. Federal projects experience specifically in the Washington DC area a plus. • Knowledge of CPM scheduling and Claims avoidance a must. • Experience in vertical construction and site utilities a must. • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and leadership skills • Strong written and spoken communication skills (English) required AMEC is committed to the principle of equal opportunity in employment.
