Job Description:	RealStreet Staffing has been engaged to perform an executive search for a Senior Project Manager with experience in Runway Construction for our client. This position is located in the DC/Maryland area. Our client is a well established and respected firm focused on delivering engineering, construction and environmental remediation solution to government and commercial organizations worldwide. Job Description: * Control the delivery of design and engineering services from the proposal stage to project completion * Provide overall project direction to the project team and subcontractors related to field of specialty * Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria * Ensure compliance with all engineering and design procedures * Develop and implement changes to Standard Operating Procedures for engineering and design services related to position discipline * Prepare RFQs for design and associated construction specialty services, and recommend the preferred service provider after reviewing bid responses * Participate in selection of A/E subcontractors to meet project needs * Review and assess work by A/E firms on projects in field of specialty, including development of technical documents, plans, specifications, bases of design, design analyses, material schedules, shop drawings and other submittals, and other professional services and decisions * Assist the proposal team in the development of proposals, cost estimates, presentations and other marketing related documents for Engineering and Construction projects Job Requirements * B.S. Degree in Engineering Discipline or Construction Management * Professional registration preferred, but not required. * MUST have experience in managing large, complex runway construction projects with value of $50-150M * Experience on DoD projects preferred (USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEE) * Client-focused and detail-oriented, with keen understanding of cost, schedule, quality, safety and other execution risks associated with the design-build process * Computer literacy (e.g., MS Office, MS Project, specialized engineering software as appropriate) * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Proficiency in engineering and design techniques, materials, and practices
