Job Description:	We are currently seeking a Construction Project Manager in our Los Angeles office. Major Activities: Plan and manage an on-site construction schedule. Schedule, coordinate and manage the construction process and the daily activities of the vendors/subcontractors and owners. Monitor construction progress and costs Protect and maintain all company equipment, personnel and interests Maintain daily project records, reports, and project documentation files Investigate and report poor quality workmanship and safety violations. Host weekly construction progress meetings on site Utilize word processing, spreadsheet, database, project management and scheduling software applications to prepare correspondence, reports, schedule updates, and other project documentation. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, construction materials, building terminology and technology. Ability to negotiate; identify and resolve problems; collect and analyze data; lead and manage staff; read and interpret building plans; plan and organize work; meet schedules and timelines; and maintain records and prepare reports. Understanding of construction scheduling and cost control Qualifications: BS in Engineering required; PE a plus Minimum 2-5 years field and previous PM experience
