Job Description:	Job Description: We are currently seeking to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer that would like to work towards becoming a partner in the company including partial ownership. The right individual would have an outstanding work ethic in all areas of small business operations, with the ability to take on all aspects of a project from start to finish including, mechanical design, equipment selection, mechanical plan layout, specification writing, cost estimating, project management, coordination with other consultants, client interaction, and construction administration services. This position requires on average 50-60 hours per week and involves working on several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Local and cross-state travel will be required to perform field investigations and prepare as built drawings, coordinate design requirements, and to build client relations. The right individual will have a great opportunity to advance their engineering skills and work towards partial ownership and partnership within the firm. Qualifications required for this position are as follows: • Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program, PE license and LEED Certification required. • Minimum 5 years experience as a mechanical engineering consultant. • Strong personal ambition and work ethic. • Excellent problem solving and communication skills. • Program and/or project management skills. • Strong working knowledge of the International Building, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire, Energy Conservation, and Gas codes • Strong working knowledge of the ASME, NFPA, and other industry related code requirements. • Experience with MS Office, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, Pipe-Flo, CAE-Pipe, and other design related software.
