Job Description:	With offices in DALLAS and HOUSTON, Polk Mechanical Company LLC (www.polkmechanical.com) is one of the largest privately owned mechanical contracting firms in Texas. We are currently looking for an HVAC PLUMBING/PIPING DETAILER and a HVAC SHEETMETAL DETAILER. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working primarily with AutoCAD software in a busy commercial construction environment. The primary work task will be to generate and coordinate fabrication / erection drawings from architectural contract drawings and specifications that will be used by field personnel for construction of large commercial. This is an entry to mid level position geared toward someone who has: · Minimum 2-years of recent experience using AutoCAD 2009 or higher · 3D design a must, preferably with CAD-MECH and Cadduct Software · Familiarity with Isometric and Fabrication drawings · Excellent communication skills both oral and written, computer skills & ability to read & understand complex commercial plans and specifications. · Building Information Modeling with Navisworks a plus · Experience in plumbing, piping or sheetmetal construction installation a plus Health, Dental, Vision, LT/ST Disability, FSA, Pre-Paid Legal, and 401k offered.
