Job Description:	Description The Customer Support/Sales Estimator reports to the Executive Sales Director and is responsible for preparing cost estimates for sales quotes covering a wide scope of company products. Quote requests come from customers; field sales representatives, dealers, and Multiteria employees. Estimator is required to prepare cost estimates for new, existing or modified food service projects and forwards these quotes back to the customer. Responsible for converting quotes to sales orders upon receipt of order and then transferring information to the project manager. This position requires maintaining cordial and professional customer relationships. The position requires experience with the company’s products, food service equipment applications, sales policies and cost estimating procedures. Some knowledge of cafeteria and buffet serving systems for schools, health care, hospitality and other applications is required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Prepare cost estimates of Multiteria products for a variety of customers including dealers, consultants and end users. 2. Work requires the ability to read blueprints and drawings. 3. Must be able to create quotes from drawings and consultant specifications. 4. Contact customer to clarify and correct any sales order discrepancy. Compare customer purchase orders with estimates and prepare order acknowledgments. 5. Prepare and update various quotes. 6. Prepare sales and order reports. 7. Prepare all necessary quotations and project documents for review by Product Manager. 8. Must have experience using Auto Quotes to prepare quotes, review pricing and format detailed specifications. 9. Must be able to instill confidence with sales force. 10. Must be able to adapt to changing quotation deadlines that require jumping from project to project on short notice. Must be able to organize and prioritize work load with Executive Sales Director. Requirements This position must have proficient computer skills in MS Office and Excel. Must have strong math skills and ability to read and understand blue prints and foodservice specifications. This position requires good customer relationship and communication skills. This position requires the ability to convert quote requests into a sketch of equipment layouts. This position requires team building and communication skills between team members as well as with related sister companies within the corporate organization. EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: This position requires a minimum of 3 years experience in foodservice equipment use and applications. Experience with school food service equipment not required but desired. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written skills are required. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position requires business math skills. REASONING SKILLS: Must be able to use logic and analytical skill as well as common sense to define problems, establish facts, collect data and draw valid conclusions based on this information. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Employee must have close vision and distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. Employee must be able to sit, stand, walk, use hands to fingers, handle and touch, reach above shoulders, talk and hear, and ability to lift up to 10 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to use a calculator, copier, fax machine, computer and related software, printer, telephone and voice mail. Employee is exposed to normal business office environment with moderate noise.
