Job Description:	We are seeking an experienced, qualified, and knowledgeable individual to fill the role of a Construction Site Project Manager. This individual must have experience in the construction of flue gas scrubbers for coal fired facilities. The Construction Site Project Manager will report to the Home Office Manager and will serve as the Site PM responsible for day to day activities. This position will be a full time employment opportunity within the organization with your first assignment being a two (2) year construction project in Utah. It is antipated that you will eventually have a staff of (2) assistant managers assigned to your project site. Duties and responsibilities for this position will involve material deliveries, day to day construction activities, and start-up activities. Responsibilities relating to material deliveries include: 1. Receive, document, and record the condition and quantity of all materials delivered to the construction site including overages, shortages, and/or damage of all materials delivered to the construction site. Confirm and document that all representative markings and delineations match those identified on the packing slips and bills of lading and are correct and consistent with requirements of the project drawings and specifications. Specific report forms shall be completed and pictures shall be taken for each and every material delivery to the site. 2. Document both visible AND suspected damages and notify the responsible Purchasing Agent and/or Project Manager of any damages, overages, or shortages immediately. 3. Submit hard and electronic copies of packing slips and bills of lading with each material and daily report form. 4. Document on the construction drawings which materials have been delivered and the location of stored materials using a system of mark or tag numbers. 5. Confirm that all materials are unloaded, handled, and stored in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Also confirm that no materials have been damaged during the unloading, handling, or storage process. 6. Confirm that stored items are in a secure (locked) location. Perform audits of stored material to document quantities, conditions, and manufacturer's / supplier's storage guidelines are followed. Responsibilities relating to day to day construction activities and start-up include: 1. Act and serve as the site representive having the highest priority to protect the interests of the client and the project using and maintaining the highest ethical standards. 2. Serve as the onsite liason between the client and the Home Office Manager. Receive and communicate client instructions, questions, and as required, answers and / or resolutions to construction-related issues. 3. Perform daily inspection of construction and erection activities to confirm conformance with the contract drawings and specifications. Verify critical tolerances, settings, and interfaces as necessary. 4. Interpret drawings and specifications for the client. Confirm the installation / erection contractor is using the correct and current set of drawings and specifications. 5. Prepare and submit daily and weekly written reports documenting all construction activities. 6. Obtain written authorization from the manufacturer / supplier that equipment installation is correct and the equipment is ready for testing and start-up. 7. Witness and record equipment testing, start-up, and operational checks and provide technical guidance for correcting defects or installation errors found during any inspections. 8. Initiate Field Reports / Change Requests as required throughout the construction period.
