Job Description:	Description: Landscaping by J. Michael is a progressive company looking for dynamic team players that want to build the company. We are on a fast track to reach our sales goal but are looking for quality oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, proven professionals, in this position. CHIEF ESTIMATOR To manage all estimating functions of the company in both Private and Public Projects. Qualified candidate key responsibilities: 1.Estimating large landscape and irrigation projects. 2. Review specification drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, and prepare esimates. 3. Perform calucation take-offs. 4. Maintain business relations with new and existing general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. 5. Qualified candidate will supervisor staff and develop team building skills in order to reach our goals. 6. Candidate must be result oriented, possess strong management and organizational skills, industry knowledge and experience, and the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel including senior mangement. Chief Estimator shall possess the following skills. 1. Use estimating software and have full computer literacy. 2. Previous experience in landscape and irrigation estimating. 3. To multi-task and the ability to work under dealines. 4. College degree in landscape, engineering or construction mangaement a plus. J.
