Job Description:	Allis Tool’s Machinist/ Estimator position is a high profile position representing Allis Tool and our customers’ needs. We are seeking an individual with strong organizational skills, one who is competitive and an innovative thinker. This individual will be taking on a support role with our Senior Estimator developing quotes and routings for parts, assemblies and fixtures up to 26,000 lbs. Tasks will include but are not limited to: -Quoting -Ability to read and understand part drawings for machine and secondary processes -Work with vendors to obtain pricing for materials and outside services -Ability to learn and Enter detailed job routings with material and outside costs -Review purchase orders before the job is issued for production -Contact with the customer during the project to answer questions and/or resolve issues. Requirements: - Minimum 3-5 years experience in a job shop machining environment -Hands on CNC Machining background required - Visualize machine parts from drawings, demonstrate process logic for machining applications, and determine work center process times. -Computer literacy a must, Auto-Cad, Pro-E Wildfire and or Solid Works experience helpful -Above average Communication skills- verbal and written -Customer Service Oriented -Ability to interact with Supervisors and Machinists to establish quotes and resolve part issues
