Job Description:	Description The successful candidate will assist in growing our water/wastewater consulting and engineering services in areas such as alternative project delivery methods; design, engineering and construction; capital project evaluation and program management; finance and rates; and management consulting. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for leading work in a team atmosphere, overseeing project activities, providing technical/managerial expertise and expanding service offerings. He/she will be responsible for interacting with Utility Services Practice leadership, firm management and other offices; and providing strategic leadership in pursuit of client relationships, market opportunities, project management strategies, and allocation of resources. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field, preferred * Professional Engineer registration preferred * Masters Degree in Engineering or MBA a plus * Minimum of 10 years of relevant technical and business development experience providing services to the water and wastewater industry * Strong leadership skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with elected officials, clients, and staff * Ability to understand the key financial, contractual, political, technical, engineering, and permitting aspects of utility operations, management, and capital project development * Pacific Northwest experience in identifying business opportunities and market trends in the water and wastewater industry * Ability to assist in leveraging client relationships in the water and wastewater industry to expand R. W. Beck’s solid waste, storm water, and energy consulting services * Additional desired attributes are the abilities to be a big-picture/conceptual thinker with concurrent attention to detail, to deal well with ambiguity in project assignments, to be responsive to unpredictable and fast track deadlines, and to be calm under pressure
