Job Description:	Description Areas of Expertise - Estimator, Construction, Excavation, Backfill, Aggregates, Trucking Estimator - Construction, Excavation Dynamic construction/disaster recovery firm looking for an Estimator based in Baton Rouge, LA. * Perform scope development, estimating, and pricing for excavation and dirt-hauling projects. * Prepare and/or coordinate quantity take-off. * Obtain Bids from vendors and subcontractors. * Review civil, structural, and architectural drawings. * Review geotechnical soil reports. * Conduct/attend pre-bid and post-bid site visits. * Compile and prepare cost estimating information on multi-million dollar projects. Competitive compensation and benefits program. Requirements * Excellent math and analytical skills. * Minimum 5 years experience in cost estimating. * Teamwork, documentation and good communication skills. * Knowledge of earthmoving and trucking equipment. * Proficiency with Excel, Word. Experience with AutoCad a plus.
