Job Description:	We are currently seeking a Lead Estimator in our Justin, TX operations. This person will report to the Senior Project Engineer. This person will begin working as soon as arrangements can be made. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Quantify project components assigned by the lead estimator * Visit project to understand site conditions/restrictions * Work with the estimating team bidding the project to build the estimate, then price assigned items in HCSS * Work on a preliminary project schedule based on the information provided in the plans and specifications utilizing Primavera P6 or Primavera Contractor software * Work with the team to close the estimate Required Experience Qualifications include: * High school diploma or equivalent; however, a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred * At least 2-5 years of estimating experience in Heavy/Highway is a must * HCSS experience is strongly preferred * Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word * Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * JDEdwards experience is preferred
