Job Description:	JOB DUTIES: • Required to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Journeyman or Master Electrician. Individual must perform with limited supervision. Individual must be physically able to perform duties involving lifting, bending and some limited climbing. Individual must possess basic written and oral skills to communicate with peers and subordinates in English language JOB SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: • Required: • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on low voltage systems including: switch gear, circuit breakers, power panels, transformers, UPS systems and general lighting systems. • Install and conduit and wiring and perform basic modifications to existing facilities electrical systems. • Utilize prints, technical manuals, manufactures files as required to troubleshoot problem areas. • Must understand and follow National Electric Code (NEC). • Must be able to work independently and have the ability to lead and supervise electrician helpers and apprentices. • Must understand grounding systems, control & alarm circuitry and power relationship. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Desired: • Outside work performed primarily in a tropical/humid environment. • Regular shift is five day/week with potential for call out or being scheduled for on call duties. • A significant amount of standing, twisting, climbing and lifting required. • Involves working with indigenous work force. EXPERIENCE (Years): • Required: • Requires a minimum of 5 years experience as a journeyman electrician. • Electrical circuit design experience • Requires valid drivers license • Desired: • Master Electrician License • Ability to operate forklift • Ability to obtain secret clearance. • Related training or specialty courses a plus EDUCATION: • Required: • High school diploma or equivalent.
