Job Description:	Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Registration: Registered mechanical engineer EXPERIENCE 15 years experience minimum, individuals should have recent experience working for a consulting engineering or engineering/architectural firm designing mechanical systems for facilities/buildings. SKILLS Strong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining strong client relationships are required. Ability to communicate effectively with people through oral presentations and written communications. Ability to motivate multiple-discipline project teams in meeting client's needs in a timely manner and meeting budget objectives. Experienced at using a computer, preferably knowledgeable with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project. RESPONSIBILITIES Effectively manage mechancial (and multi-discipline) projects by satisfying clients' needs, meeting budget expectations and project schedules. Interact with facility and major business clients to identify their requirements, define project scope and prepare project proposals. Prepare mechanical engineering designs for HVAC and hydronic systems, meeting budget expectations and project schedules. Provide support during construction phases.

P2S has LEED Accredited Design Professionals to guide clients who have a project goal of LEED certification. Our staff has the special expertise required for industrial and institutional projects. Our experience has included providing engineering services as the Campus Engineers at California State University Long Beach, California State University Fullerton, California State University Bakersfield, Long Beach City College, Cypress College, and Fullerton College. Our experience also includes several annual/open-end contracts for Universities/Colleges, the Boeing Company and the Port of Long Beach.
