Job Description:	We are looking for a Lead Estimator with a proven track record of results for one of the leading general engineering contractor and industrial fabrication companies in Southern California. Successful candidates will have a Bachelors degree in Engineering and at least five years of experience as an Estimator for an industrial construction company. The company performs industrial contracting, metal fabrication, metal machining, metal blasting and coating, structural concrete, and rebar fabrication. They have new state of the art cnc machinery and the latest 3D solid modeling, detailing and project management software in the industry. They believe the key to success is in the team of people and because of this they have successfully assembled an impressive team of talented, hard-working and honest individuals. The Lead Estimator manages 3-4 estimators while reporting directly to the President. The role calls for both the ability to be organized and to organize others. Successful candidates will be focused and self driven. In this position you will: • Produce estimates for all projects • Bid multiple projects simultaneously, accurately, and timely • Review contracts to ensure that everything related to the estimate is included and accounted for • Work with President to coordinate budgets and schedules • Attend job walks and look for every possible situation that could affect the estimate • Review and incorporate historical data form purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. This position will allow you to say goodbye to traffic and enjoy a low cost of living in sunny El Centro in the Imperial Valley.
