Job Description:	Jacobs Associates' headquarter office in San Francisco, CA is looking for a Design Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience in geotechnical or structural engineering and preferably with some experience in the design of tunnels, temporary excavation support systems and underground structures. Requirements The ideal candidate for this position must have a MS Degree in Civil Engineering w/structural or geotechnical emphasis. This experience should include the ability to complete a variety of assignments such as the development of drawings, specifications, and technical memoranda that present the basis of design. A background in rock mechanics, soil mechanics, groundwater, settlement analysis and construction engineering would be considered beneficial.
