Job Description:	This key position in the Environmental Services Department will help support Mohawk's environmental initiatives in multiple countries. This role will be viewed by senior leadership as an internal subject matter expert or a gateway to SMEs, especially on environmental and supporting sustainability topics. The position requires a strong technical background to lead, prepare and manage programs in such areas as waste water, storm water, air, emergency planning and training, and development. The successful candidate will work to obtain and maintain ISO certification at multiple locations. The job requires travel 20 to 25% of the time, mostly local, but some international site visits will be necessary. The organization is committed to developing an in-depth, long-term training program to help a newly-hired professional gain a complete understanding of Mohawk's complex environmental procedures, reporting processes and metrics. The position requires the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and to ensure that rigorous reporting standards are adhered to.
