Job Description:	MCE Staffing is currently recruiting for a Safety Professional at our Richland, WA based clients office to support work at the Hanford Site. Requirements Ideal candidate will possess knowledge and detailed experience in the following areas: � Crane operations safety oversight � Hoisting and rigging safety oversight � Heavy or Greenfield construction safety � Electrical safety, including hazardous energy control/lockout and tag-out � Utilities safety oversight (electrical and water utilities) � Safety review for work packages and work planning in the above areas � Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) � Ability to work with management, craft, administrative and others � Aptitude for team-work � Ability to multi-task � Ability to maintain detailed record keeping Candidate must be able to work under minimal supervision and possess ability to resolve safety issues resulting in positive outcome. 1. 25% of time is projected to provide safety oversight 2. 75% of time is projected to provide problem solving and safety issue resolution Comprehensive knowledge/experience working at a Department of Energy site and/or cleanup projects is highly desired. Schedule 8/9s Education BS, in applicable disciplines 10- 15 years significant applied experience in industrial safety Certified Safety Professional, highly desired, but not required Software Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) Other Candidate must be able to pass background check, drug screen and training requirements for facility entrance.
