Job Description:	A Connecticut based electrical construction company is seeking an ESTIMATOR with 2+ years experience in electrical, transportation, utility and/or heavy highway construction. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Track and analyze project leads. * Initiate request for quotations to subcontractors and material vendors. * Review and analyze bid quotations from subcontractors and material vendors. * Prepare bid proposals and conduct post bid follow-up. * Prepare quantity take-off. * Prepare complete unit price estimates. * Additional responsibilities include, project administration and communications; budget preparation and tracking;unit price contract quantity, and other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS * High School diploma and 2+ years relevant industry experience, or advanced degree. * Microsoft Office and strong general computer acumen. * Exceptional organizational skills with an attention to detail. * Self-strater with ability to multi-task effectively, flexibility and aptitude for managing concurrent projects/tasks.
