Job Description:	Dow Corning, a U.S. based, multinational corporation and global leader in the silicon-based industry seeks an Electrical Engineer for a position at our Midland, MI facility. Must have un-restricted employment authorization to work in the U.S. Job Skills/Requirements Position Description: The Electrical Engineer will support the development, design, and construction of capital and expense projects from concept through start-up. Key responsibilities will include; project scope development & estimates, detailed electrical power system, motor controls, lighting and grounding design and construction follow up of all electrical systems. Specific tasks include; sizing and selection of electrical equipment including low voltage up to 480V and medium voltage up to 2.4KV, writing purchase specifications in SAP, reviewing and approving detailed design drawings, writing electrical construction specifications, assembling/issuing construction packages, and the writing and updating of applicable discipline engineering and construction standards as required. Desired Qualifications: BS Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5-7 years of electrical power system design experience for capital projects, preferably within the Chemical Industry. The candidate must have excellent planning and people skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment. Must have good communications skills and function effectively in a team environment.
