Job Description:	JACOBS is one of the worlds largest and most diverse providers of technical and management services. We offer a full-spectrum of consultancy support to commercial, government and industrial clients across many sectors. One client is the Atomic Weapons Establishment based near Aldermaston, Berkshire. The project is to build a major research facility. This is highly complex incorporating a number of sub-projects ranging from R&D aspects, through manufacture and assembly of substantial, novel technology items through major facility design, build and commission. The successful person will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities. Primary Job Responsibilities Ideally you will be degree qualified in an Engineering discipline. You will have proven experience running complex projects in a safety critical environment (nuclear, power station etc) with a demonstrable track record of delivering results, managing people, project finances and reporting of progress to peers. You will be able to demonstrate project management competency along with experience in project planning (Primavera/Microsoft Project), cost control and monitoring, and commercial/contract knowledge. Demonstrable excellent communication skills is a pre-requisite. The ability to communicate at all levels is required as is the ability to present project strategy and complex project issues in a simple, clear and concise manner. Clear leadership and negotiating skills are also required. All of which are essential in developing Client Relationships as well as managing successful projects. Training and Experience You will typically be working on New Build and/or Nuclear Clean-up and remediation programmes and experience in these areas would be an advantage as would working within the Nuclear, defence or relevant sectors Other Essential Functions Successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment Other Requirements Affirmative Action/Employment Opportunity Successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment
