Regional Human Resources Manager

Job Description:	This position will provide a high level of HR expertise and experience to all managers and employees in California, Oregon, Nevada and Arizona supporting our retail stores, outside sales teams, distribution and warehouse centers and our as well as our regional office located in San Diego. This position will be a key business partner and a critical communicator of all change initiatives, policy and procedures, performance management, compensation, organizational development, and training. RESPONSIBILITES Support Field / Division Management and Employees with: * Employee relations, coaching and counseling * Policy and procedure implementation * Compensation information * Performance management * Other related HR activities and initiatives Collaborate with Corporate HR with implementation of: * New policies and procedures * Key training initiatives * Compensation and Benefit communications * Creation of a unified vision for employees in remote locations QUALIFICATIONS * 5-10 years experience as an HR Generalist in a multi-site or multi-division organization * Strong knowledge of employment law at both the Federal and State level * Experienced with both union contract administration and maintaining a union free environment * Demonstrated track record driving performance, achieving metrics, key performance indicators * Strong problem solving and communication skills * Demonstrated ability building consensus and driving change * PHR or SPHR certification preferred * College degree highly desirable * Able to speak Spanish preferred * Able to travel approx 30% * Experience in manufacturing, retail and/or the construction industry highly desirable * Multi-site experience required * Prior supervisory experience a plus
