Job Description:	The Project Superintendent-Civil/Heavy Highway will be responsible for overseeing the management and execution of field construction activities on a small projected designated jointly by the Heavy Division Vice President and the respective Project Coordinator. Responsibilities include: Ø Coordinates the construction activities (engineering, planning, scheduling, material and supplies acquisition, equipment utilization and maintenance, subcontractor management, and personnel utilization) on the designated project. Ø Constantly monitors the schedule and progress on designated project Ø Constant monitors and corrects the financial status (cost reports, cost projections, billings, and collections) on the designated project. Ø Maintains communication and coordination with the other project managers through the projects coordinator Ø Performs regular evaluation of project supervisory personnel with attention to pre-set goals on work progress, safety performance, quality workmanship, personnel diversity, and cost reduction. Ø Enforces company policies (safety, ethics, quality improvement, drug and alcohol) Ø Actively promotes the training of personnel to continue to broaden the skills and diversification of supervisory, skilled and unskilled work force Candidates MUST possess the following experience: Ø Must have ten years of experience in a Superintendent role; related to general construction, structural, dirt, wall or bridges (i.e. dirt, concrete, structural experience with highways, bridges, and roads) Ø Excellent leadership and communication skills Ø Ability to multi-task **Applicants must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S. Zachry is an equal opportunity employer and maintains a drug free environment.
