Job Description:	POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing a $10-20M yr. solar electrical contracting business Position provides support to all phases of a business from Sales to Project Management. Reporting to the CEO, the Operations Manager will be hands-on in the development of company and staff as needed. Qualified candidates will have a background in Sales, project management, equipment design, engineering, procurement, vendor contracts, and supplier management. The position will also have extensive relationships with ancillary product manufacturers and large installation subcontractors in Los Angles area. The Operations Manager will supervise the design and installation of a large number of projects and should have an understanding of global procurement. In addition, this position will have overall responsibility for managing the sales of residential Power purchase agreements. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • Lead executive teams and consultants that, obtain necessary approvals, negotiate and obtain subsidy with varying County/City and respective agencies; document and structure project based permanent financing if need arises. The company is self financed and does not need outside financing at this time. • Coordinate asset monitoring activities pertaining to insurance, technical, environmental and legal • Create budgets, forecasts and related business analysis to ensure successful project completion and ensure the business plan is achieved. Provide monthly updates of project status (including net income, ROI, coverage ratios, production, etc.) and performance. • Analyze and/or develop detailed financial models and projections and manage support resources. • Manage solar energy sales and installation, including risk analysis to build industry expertise. QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience with project financing (including construction and/or development) through Federal tax credits/subsidies /legal/environmental regulations and raising equity/debt. • Strong analytical, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills. • MBA/MS or undergraduate business and science degree with related work and large project experience. • Minimum 5 to 7+ years experience in industry with documentation/managing complex financial transactions in solar manufacturing and installation. • Identification of opportunities to enhance returns and risk profile.
