Job Description:	General Duties: This position is responsible for planning and managing construction activities in accordance with client and Company requirements for the specific contract. This position reports to the General Manager of Construction and will be based at the project site which could be in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Valdez or North Slope based on the contract. Planning efforts will be conducted in Anchorage, AK and at the job site. Typical responsibilities include: - All aspects of project execution planning including but not limited to cost, schedule, safety, quality, resource, procurement, project controls, risk, and communication management. - Delivery of the project in accordance with scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality objectives. - Project change management and control. - Management of subcontractors. - Management of the client relationship. - Close out of project including coordination of the lessons learned meeting and preparation of project close-out documentation. North Slope contracts will be rotation based on the project schedule needs. Experience Needed: Proficient in fundamental project management practices including planning, execution and control, and close-out in a fast track environment is required. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.BS in Engineering, Project or Construction Management, or related field required. Five years construction management experience managing medium to large projects in the oil and gas industry required. Experience on North Slope and in arctic conditions desirable. Education/Certifications/Licenses: BS in Engineering, Project or Construction Management or related field or five years of exempt level work experience in related field may be considered in lieu of education. Driver's license required. PMP Certification desirable.
