Job Description:	Responsible for managing the estimating activities for assigned regional projects including development of bid strategy leading bid preparation oversight of estimating protocol client relationship management and supervision and development of estimators. Will assume a leadership role in mentoring and developing other estimators. Will develop bid strategy to win projects and collaborate with Operations on proposals. Perform bid preparation and final closeout for hard bids and all aspects of take off for piping and plumbing estimating. Will build and foster effective relationships with clients vendors and subcontractors. Will lead large multi-discipline estimates up to $40 million in mechanical value. Facilitate pre-bid and hand-off meetings. Company has over 800 employees nationwide. KC and Colorado openings. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of related estimating experience; strongly prefer 10 years or more. Prefer experience with jobs in excess of $10 mil. HVAC commercial and institutional experience strongly preferred as well as industrial. Ability to be self sufficient and facilitate successful team results. Operate with a keen sense of urgency and work proficiency. Strong communication and analytical skills combined with resourcefulness.
