Job Description:	Description: RECON is currently seeking a Senior Estimator for their team in Afghanistan, assisting in current and future developments. Duties: •Prepare cost estimates as well as Basis of Estimate reports for all projects in Afghanistan •Co-ordination, review and approval of same documents from external sources •Update and support to the estimation database, with data from previous projects •Process improvement where neccessary •Support to the team and ad hoc duties for same Qualifications: •Degree qualification in an estimating or quantity surveying course •5-10 years experience in a estimation role in Civil/Infrastructural projects •Experience on large projects [in excess of €1m] •In dpeth knowledge of the estimating function and ability to implement improved processes into a team •Some experience with estimating software or a database •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
