Job Description:	Woolpert seeks a Project Director for our Site/Civil Group. The Project Director will be responsible for assisting local and state government clients’ address their infrastructure needs. The position is responsible for growing and expanding the municipal services practice for the office. Individual must have a minimum of 15 years experience in the Northern Illinois region with an Illinois PE License. Experience should include the planning, design and construction of roadways, and/or with water distribution, sanitary sewer, storm water design, permitting and erosion control services directly for local and state government clients. A strong relationship with local municipalities is required for the position. The position is responsible for developing new business, managing design projects, directing the engineering team and guiding the municipal engineering services for the office. Individual must have strong self-motivation, be able to communicate effectively, provide a high-level of attention to details and handle multiple projects and deadlines. The position is responsible for working directly with clients, attending meetings, writing proposals, developing and conducting project interviews and negotiating contracts. Involvement in public/civic organizations and an understanding of local capital improvement programs is required.
