Job Description:	We are currently looking for a Maintenance Electrician that has a valid Washington State EL-01 Electrical License. This position is a Direct Hire position with a salary of $44,000 - $54,000 DOE. Tacoma area food manufacturer is looking for Maintenance Electricians. Successful candidate will possess a current valid Journeyman electrician certificate of competency issued by WA state Dept. of L&I Will be responsible to maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in a food production plant and throughout the entire facility in a fast-paced environment. Must have the ability to work under constant demand of the production line environment. Must show reliability in past job performance and attendance. Required to provide personal tools. JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all Production packaging/processing equipment to minimize downtime. 2. Install, inspect, maintain and repair electrical power and control systems throughout the facility. 3. Read, Interpret, Update blueprints and schematic diagrams. 4. Troubleshoot and analyze electrical systems using appropriate test equipment. 5. Diagnose and take corrective action to restore electrical and electronic systems. 6. Install conduit and pull electrical wire for new equipment electrical services. 7. Maintain maintenance, inventory and repair logs accurately. 8. Adhere to and uphold plant safety/GMP rules and technical standards. 9. Keep supervisor informed of any issues that may affect maintenance performance. 10. Perform all other duties as assigned. OTHER ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Must have demonstrated knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems. 2. Must have thorough knowledge of machinery, gear drives, packaging/monitoring equipment. 3. Welding proficiency preferred. 4. Desire knowledge and experience of the following: PLC's - Specifically: Allen Bradley PLC 2, PLC 5, SLC series and Micrologix; knowledge of operation, troubleshooting and programming. Single and Three Phase Power Distribution Systems up to and including 2400 volts. (Examples: Transformers, Power Circuit Breakers, Switches Fuses, Metering Equipment). Electronic and Pneumatic Process Control Systems (examples: recorders, controllers, indicators, transducers, signal conditioners, signal level wiring). Electrical and electronic schematic diagrams. Test equipment used on electronic/electrical circuits and equipment, such as meters, oscilloscopes, and signal analyzers. Solid state electronic components - linear and digital IC's, thyristors and microprocessors. Must be familiar with electrical construction duties (panel building, conduit runs, etc.) Minimum of five years maintenance/electrical experience with industrial and packaging equipment.
