Job Description:	ENSCO, Inc is seeking a Director of Communications, who will report directly to the Vice President for Corporate Business Development (CBD), and will be the focal point for marketing and communication efforts. The selected applicant will be responsible for the quality and content of all external corporate marketing efforts including, but not limited to, annual reports, press releases, newsletters, brochures, product sheets, corporate calendars and marketing booths for trade shows. The incumbent will be responsible for the quality and content of multi-media to promote ENSCOs marketing and communications efforts to employees, industry partners, customers, and potential customers. Orientation videos, annual meeting presentations, and employee newsletters are an example. The selected applicant will generate corporate wide policy and guidelines for internal and external communications, and provide guidance on maintaining the corporate brand and image. He/She will be responsible for managing employees assigned to the Communications Division and supervising the graphic arts department. Work load balance of division employees is an essential element of the supervisory responsibilities. The selected applicant will provide oversight of ENSCOs website to maintain marketing and recruitment focus as well as oversight of the production of all corporate led initiatives (e.g. branding initiatives). Qualification Required - Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 10 years relevant experience, including 5 years managerial and leadership experience - Prior public relations experience - Experience in supervising graphic arts department and helping to manage work load - Multi-media and website production experience - Outstanding writing skills (portfolio required upon request) - Outstanding verbal communication skills - Outstanding leadership skills - Excellent demonstrated creativity in design - Attention to detail Qualification Desired - A leader and catalyst, both in thought and action - An organized visionary with well-grounded business acumen - An enthusiastic, articulate communicator Division Description ENSCO's Corporate Business Development group supports the company with sales, marketing and business development activities with each of the companies' unique divisions.
